Our beloved Rakesh was born October 15, 1994 in India. A special gift from God, Rakesh entered our lives on Christmas Day of that year.
All those who were fortunate to have met him, loved him instantly. Beyond his natural beauty, his soul lit the lives of all he touched. He was kind and generous to family, friends and strangers alike. A gentle soul who loved animals and nature and would willingly put his life before others. A true friend, described as a ‘rock’ for the advice and support he gave to others.
Rakesh was mature and wise beyond his years. His sense of humour and sharp wit will always be cherished and sorely missed. He never missed an opportunity to play pranks and the ability to carry them out with a ‘straight face’ was a trade mark that he shared with his dad.
He was a natural musician with an amazing voice. A skilled sportsman with a passion for rugby, Rakesh excelled at many other sports. Not only was Rakesh a big brother to his sister and cousins, Rak also extended this role to his friends at school, university and beyond. 

Although he was taken away from us in the prime of his life, the joys and love he has bestowed upon us during this short time will always remain in our hearts.
